Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about grief counseling, our services, and the healing process.

Getting Started

Grief counseling can be helpful if you're experiencing difficulty coping with loss, if grief is interfering with daily life, or if you simply want support during a difficult time. There's no right or wrong reason to seek counseling. If you're wondering whether it might help, it's worth exploring.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to counseling, your grief journey so far, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We'll also answer any questions you have about the counseling process.

The length of counseling varies for each person. Some find relief in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does healing.
